  • Broader Impacts and Project Design: Assistance for researchers in designing and assessing effective STEM education programs targeted at K-12 students or teachers for Broader Impacts
  • STEM Pedagogy Training: Providing training that will familiarize researchers with strategies for enhancing their ability to interact with K-12 teachers and students
  • Saturday Science Workshops for Teachers: Monthly Saturday workshops that provide opportunities for elementary and middle school teachers to learn science content from Penn State researchers and faculty, through K-8 classroom-friendly activities
  • Summer Research Experiences for STEM Teachers: A 7-week summer experience that immerses K-12 STEM teachers in scientific research and supports them in developing classroom research projects to implement during the school year
  • Summer Teacher Workshops: Professional development workshops for teachers on various science content areas that are hosted by CSATS in collaboration with STEM researchers from Penn State
